Nutritional errors...it remains a problem

Nutritional errors, casefile 2
A baby canary dies from seed obstruction
Seed mixtures are completely inadequate nutrition, it can involve a large sum of deficiencies/deficiencies. Seeds are the main reason that birds generally do not live beyond 30% of their life expectancy. We also know that young birds die if they are fed seeds. Young birds are by definition not seed eaters, because they cannot yet digest seeds and this causes blockages, which causes the young birds to die when they are fed seed food.
Feeding seed mixtures in the garden all year round is therefore not in the interests of the birds. In nature, seeds are only available for a limited part of the year and not in the run-up to and during the breeding period, nor immediately after the breeding period. Research was published in 1986 showing that there was a lot of mortality among young great tits in the nest boxes. We see the same thing in captive birds as in breeding birds are fed seed mixtures. Egg quality is lower, the fertilization rate is lower, and so is the hatching rate. Consequently, the young birds are less vital and vulnerable to infection. If the parents also feed seeds to the young, this is a known cause of death. The photo shows a young canary and a young Inca cockatoo.
In the photo a baby canary, dead due to seed obstruction.
So seed eaters are not seed eaters for most of the year!
